Enhance Your Home with Preformed Ponds: A World of Choices Awaits!

Preformed ponds are the quickest and easiest way to build a pond. We have a large range of poly ponds that can either be sunk into the ground or used as freestanding ponds. Preformed ponds come with long warranties of 10 to 20 years for peace of mind, ensuring they will not deteriorate over time from UV exposure like preformed fiberglass ponds do. When it comes to installation, it's a breeze.

 How To:

1. Select your desired location for the pond and outline it using a garden hose or rope. Remove the pond and dig a hole that's 5cm wider and deeper than the pond's dimensions.

2. Line the excavated area evenly with approximately 5cm of damp sand or underlay. Remove any sharp objects like stones, sticks, roots, etc., from the area.

3. Use a spirit level to ensure the layer of sand covering the bottom of the excavation is perfectly level.

4. Carefully place the pond into the prepared area.

5. Begin to fill the pond with water gradually. Simultaneously, fill in the gaps between the pond and the edge of the excavation with a mixture of sand and topsoil. Make sure to maintain the pond's level throughout this process.

Important Tip‼

Allow the pond to be filled and settle for a minimum of 7 days before adding any rocks or slabs around the pond's edge. This waiting period allows the ground to settle due to the weight of the water, ensuring a stable and long-lasting installation.
