Minerals

Plants require a certain amount of minerals such as iron, magnesium and calcium to grow and thrive. These minerals are essential for photosynthesis and clorophyll production, giving the plants a healthy green colour. As the plants may not get enough of these crucial minerals naturally, using mineral additives will lead to stronger and healthier plants, leaves and fruit. Yellow leaves is a sign of iron deficiency, while rusty brown or yellow spots indicates a lack of magnesium. Deformed leaves, whithered margins are serious signs of calcium deficiency in plants.
