The Bitron UVC Clarifier
	OASE controls algae with light. The Bitron Clarifier, specially developed for the garden pond, is packed full of technology and innovation. Successfully used in sewage technology for many years, the C-wave of ultraviolet light is now available for use in private garden pools. Bitron can be set to the optimal flow rate required by means of an ingenious integrated bypass system.
Too great a volume of water results in not all algae and bacteria being treated. With a precise targeted flow rate, the optimum treatment of the water can be achieved. The function of the cleaning mechanism is unique. Special brushes are guided over the soiled glass tubes by magnets, cleaning them within seconds. A simple, but very effective procedure ensures that the UVC light rays are not blocked by soiling. A powerful permanent magnet prevents calcium build up. The UV lamp should be exchanged after 10,000 operating hours to ensure that the UVC works most effectively. Bitron was produced according to the highest possible quality standards. The product advantages: Unique combination of UVC light and permanent magnet. (except Bitron 9) The UVC light causes the green algae to clump together, facilitating filtering. The magnet prevents calcification of important working parts of the pump and filter. (except Bitron 9) Individually adaptable with 5 models available. The Biotec Filter Range
		BIOTEC 30 This multi chamber filter contains the innovative hydro mats from East Asia, brushes for large dirt particles and the proven OASE filter foams.
The patented silt disposal system allows quick and easy cleaning of the filter and ensures if used correctly the continued development of microorganisms. Biotec is an important component of the BIOsys system! These filters are generally pump fed filters and multi chamber filters, which do not only mechanically filter out dirt from the pond water but also encourage the colonisation of special micro-organsims for the biological filtration process. Biotec was scientifically developed and tested, and guarantees, if used according to the instructions and in round the clock operation, crystal clear and biologically sound pond water. Biotec 4 is the smallest filter in this range. It is a 4-stage filter. The UVC clarifier Bitron 9 is available as an accessory and can be simply installed inside the filter without the need for any other accessories. Biotec 5 and Biotec 10 have advanced to the status of a classic filter for clean and clear ponds. When these filters came onto the market in 1996 after almost 3 years of intense research and technical development, hardly anyone believed the sensational effect these filtration units could achieve. Thousands of grateful pond owners can now, thanks to BIOTEC and the BIOsys system enjoy crystal clear water in their garden pond. The filters are made of UVC-resistant plastic. A pollution indicator and a thermometer are integrated in the lid. The multi-chamber system ensures easy maintenance, which becomes hardly necessary once the filter is fully established. The micro organisms will then ensure the decomposition of the filtered out particles. Biotec 30 is an innovative development for large ponds with Koi fish. With Biotec 30 and its integrated drain, the facility to remove filtered particles and the biological decomposition of superfluous nutrients. Oase has once again achieved a superior technological lead in the market. This multi-chamber filter features, apart from the brush chamber, an innovative woven mat which increases the extraction of large dirt particles and thereby makes the work for the micro organisms in the later stages of the filtration process easier. The connection to Bitron 15 to 72 and the Aquamax pump range is possible without the need for any further parts.

Filter System BIOsys2
	BIOsys2 is OASE's solution for the smaller pond owner who wants to enjoy guaranteed clear pond water. The 4 stage system in connection with 9 watt UVC clarifier and the powerful Aquamax pump ensures clear conditions in the pond after only a short period of time. That is guaranteed by OASE. The BIOsys2 filter system is suitable for use with Aquamax 3500 or 5500.
Aquamax Special pump for pumping soiled pond water into the filter system. Connector With multi-staged hose tail for 3/4", 1", 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" hoses. Filter Body Made of enviromentally sound polyethylene. Easy to clean system. Bitron 9 UVC-Clarifier for retrofitting. With integrated bypass. The 9 watt UVC light has a germicidal effect and does not leave any toxic substances in the pond water. Spray aeration With centrifugal alignment guaranteeing high oxygen absorption. Settlement Chamber Due to vortex action, large particles settle in the chamber, and are easily removed using the drain plug. Blue Zone Coarse foam filter with a large filter surface area. First stage of nitrification due to high absorption of oxygen particles. Red Zone In addition to the mechanical fine-filtration the 1st stage of denitrification is achieved here due to the fine filter material with maximum filter surface area, slower flow rate and low oxygen levels. Biomats In stage 3 of the system made of high-quality plastics the specially designed surface area encourages the colonisation of bacteria. Special Filter granulate The fourth stage completes the denitrification process. Filter outlet At the end of the filtration process the free falling water is enriched with oxygen.

Filter System BIOsys3
	The Classic System that guarantees clear water. BIOsys 3 is OASE' solution for the medium / large pond owner who wants to enjoy guaranteed clear pond water.
The BIOsys 3 contains two sets. Set 1 consists of a Biotech 5 filter, Bitron 15 clarifier and an Aquamax 5500. Set 2 consists of a Biotech 5 filter, Bitron 15 clarifier and an Aquamax 5500. Set 2 consists of the Biotech 10, Bitron 25 clarifier and an Aquamax 10,000.
1/2" threaded stepdown hosetail Bitron magnet and UVC-Lamp The water is transported past a permanent magnet, and all lime crystals are transformed. This prevents an excessive calcification of important parts of the filter system. Due to the fact the 15 watt or 25 watt ultraviolet light works as an oxidizer and germicide, it does not leave toxic substances in the water. Spray Aeration Strong whirls of water in the inlet supply the pond water with air and thus with oxygen, important for biological efficiency. Blue Zone Coarse dirt particles are retained in the dense blue bio elements. Thanks to enrichment with oxygen, bacteria develop quickly in the blue zone and transform ammonia, extremely dangerous to fish, into nitrate. Biomats The medium has a large surface area and is ideal for aerobic and anaerobic decomposition of pollutants at the same time. Harmful nitrite is decomposed. Red Zone Mechanical and Biological fine filtration allow bacteria in the anaerobic (low in oxygen) red zone to decompose pollutants or oxidise nitrite into nitrate. Nitrate can be absorbed and decomposed by plants in a natural way. Denitrification-zone Due to water which is poor in oxygen, micro-organisms change excessive nitrate into free and harmless nitrogen. Inner Chamber Made of enviromentally friendly and robust polythene, the tank can be completely removed for cleaning. The biomass is easily filtered out of the pond water and kept in the tank. Biotec-Plus-Zone This system was developed for receiving different materials which can be used to increase the activities of the filter such as the elimination of phosphate, using OASE filter starter or other biologically operating additives. Indicator of the degree of pollution If the filter system is operated for a long time, a high concentration of biomass which has been filtered out may be found in the filter. A special system measures the degree of pollution and indicates when the filter needs to be cleaned to guarantee maximum efficiency. Thermometer Micro-organisms such as bacteria multiply at a temperature of more than 10 degree Celsius. Water which is too warm may cause an increased algae growth and thus an elimination of oxygen in the pond. The indicator shows you the ideal temperature for the pond and the activity of the bacteria. Double tank Made of environment friendly and robust polyethene, it can be placed on the soil, or installed free standing. Filter Outlet Outlet with 70mm standard connection.

Filter System BIOsys4
	Extended filter system. BIOsys4 suitable for medium to large ponds. By setting up a parallel connection of the filter components an increase of 100% filtration surface has been achieved. This increases the effectiveness of the denitrification and the nitrification zones considerably.
The BIOsys4 filter system consists of : Pump Aquamax 10000 UVC clarifier Bitron 25 2 x Biotec 10 filter BIOsys4 discharge kit The two Biotec 10 filters are installed side by side. They are joined by the UVC magnetic Bitron 25 pre-purification unit in such a way that the main outflow from Bitron fills the first of the Biotec filters and the bypass outflow supplies the second Biotec with relatively less water. The polluted water is fed into the system by the Aquamax 10000. Within the Biotec filter which receives the larger volume of water, blue zone provides an optimal amount of oxygen for the micro-organisms. This is necessary for the biological breakdown of pollutants allowing the decontamination of released nitrogen compounds, ammonia and nitrite. Slow water flow and a much larger filtration surface allow extremely effective denitrification to take place within the red zone which means that gasses are released and nitrate is thereby removed. The goal of removing excess nutrients from the pond is realised.

	Extended Filter systemBIOsys5 Suitable for large ponds. The system is a combination of proven OASE products such as Bitron, Biotec and Aquamax, all scientifically tested and guaranteed.
The Filter System BIOsys5 consists of: Pump Aquamax 15000 2 x UVC clarifier Bitron 25 3 x Biotec 10 filter (containing 12 red and 6 blue filter foams) 1 x T-piece 1 1/2" with step-down hose tail 1 m spiral hose 1 1/2" BIOsys5 discharge kit and connections Like the BIOsys3, the central filter body receives the majority of water, where powerful oxygenation provides an ideal environment for the biological breakdown of pollutants and simultaneous nitrification by NSB bacteria. The other two filters, on either side, receive a slow throughput of water with the effect that the denitrification is twice as efficient as in the BIOsys 4 system. A similarly effective reduction in nitrogen from the pond water is achieved.

Filter Aquapur

Aquapur 18 A pressure filter which may be used both below and above the water level, in or out of the pond. It can be operated by Nautilus 3000 and Nautilus 4000, or by any pump as long as the total excess head does not exceed 6 m . This particular design enables it to be installed in areas where other filters will not function. Maximum operating pressure of 6.0 m head including special filter medium!

Europond Filter Pools
	The Europond Filter can be operated inline on a watercourse or as a header pool for a stream using the wall transition WDF 10-10/25. Functioning: The pond water containing floating particles and algae settles in the bottom of the water of the collection basin. From here the pond water flows into a 3 cm deep reservoir at the bottom of the basin.
The pressure that is produced in the collection basin forces the water through the holed base plate into the biofilter, which lies above it. The biofilter consists of alternate layers of fine and coarse filtering rocks from bottom to top with marsh and shore vegetation planted in the top. The floating particles and algae are filtered out as the pond water gradually rises. The vegetation withdraws the nourishing substances that feed the algae from the water. Micro-organisms feel at home in this thickly rooted layer and help to decompose the organic substances. After the clean water reaches the surface again, it flows back into the pond via a watercourse or a stream. The slow circulation guarantees that the water will be totally clean after filtering. Even small pumps have enough capacity to operate this filter. The natural cleaning through the vegetation in the filter effectively means maintenance is eliminated. Filter pool FT 430 supplied with liner flange for a watertight connection of filter outlet and liner.
