TDS and EC are essentially measurements of the same thing - the amount of nutrients in a nutrient solution.  TDS stands for total dissolved salts, and EC stands for electrical conductivity.  It is important to test the TDS/EC levels in your nutrient solution to be sure that your plants are being fed the right amount of nutrients.  To the right you can find information about the Milwaukee CD 600 TDS/EC tester.
